PSN Group of companies was founded in the year 1922 by Sri. P.S.Narayana Iyer, former chief forest conservator of the princely state of Cochin. On developing an ambition to be an entrepreneur, he resigned from service and founded PSN. He started his operations in Fleet Management with 6 *****, on receiving a grant from the Kochi Maharaja under the 'PSN Motors' umbrella. The PSN group went through a transition phase in the 80s and 90s. Due to nationalization of route permits in Kerala and a challenging economic environment, the group divested from fleet management and into dealership management operations. Since 1978, the group has been led by its Managing Director, Mr. P.K.Ananthanarayanan. He has been critical to setting a vision for the company and putting together a professional management team that has helped the Group grow to its current size.
